ARC-funded research project

The Australian National University (ANU) is seeking a suitably qualified applicant to participate in an ARC-funded research project that explores the poorly understood Islamic cultures of Eastern Indonesia (Sulawesi, Maluku and the lesser Sunda Islands). The successful applicant will join a research team in the Department of Anthropology, Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies, ANU College of Asia and the Pacific. The PhD will be based around twelve months fieldwork in an Islamic community. This postion offers an annual stipend.
Megalo Printmaker in Residence program

The Megalo Printmaker in Residence program provides participating artists with a stipend and six weeks access to the Megalo Print Studios in Canberra. The choice of printmaking equipment and facilities includes screen printing on fabric or paper, etching, relief, lithography or use of the digital studio. The purpose of the residencies is to support the making of the new work that addresss Megalo Print Studio objectives of fostering excellence and innovation in print-based art practice.

Hill End Artists in Residence Program 2009

Bathurst Regional Art Gallery launched the Hill End Artists in Residence Program in 1998 to allow contemporary Australian artists the chance to experience and respond to the historically charged landscape of Hill End. Artists can apply to spend four weeks living and working at Haefligers or Murrays Cottage. Upon completion of their residency the artists may have the opportunity to exhibit their work at Bathurst Regional Art Gallery or at the Jean Bellette Gallery, Hill End.
