About the AuthorRobert CookAuthor of: Zero to one thousand to nothingJune 2004 Robert Cook is associate curator of Contemporary Art, Art Gallery of Western Australia, an adjunct research fellow at the Research Institute for Cultural Heritage at Curtin University and a board member of Craftwest. He has been a curator at the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery at the University of Western Australia and a cultural heritage historian on a range of large scale projects. Recent curatorial projects include Mix Tape at the Art Gallery of Western Australia (co-curated with Melissa Harpley and Carly Lane) and Striptease: Max Pam Photorgaphy which will open at the Australian Centre for Photography on June 11, 2004. He was editor of Craftwest magazine throughout 1999/2000, and an art and theatre critic at The West Australian newspaper from 1997 until 2003. He has written for numerous Australian art publications as well as South California's Loud Paper, Frieze and Atlanta's Art Papers. He is currerently working with Bec Dean on the December issue of Photofile. |
