The South Project - Residency Program 2005
In 2005 the South Project is focused on developing residencies and collaborative exchange opportunities for the extensive network of artists and cultural workers that has developed since the initiation of the project.

The South Project residencies are open to arts and crafts practitioners through out the southern hemisphere. Each residency has its own set of criteria and application deadline, details for which are included in the residency outlines on the South Project website

Call for submission - Collectors Cabinet Object Gallery   Closes 19 January 2005
Object and JMGA-NSW invite members to submit an application in response to the theme place for an exhibition which will be held in conjection with Here and There - Australia/UK, Contemporary Jewellery from Japan and South Australian jeweller Lauren Simeoni. Email Object

Global Arts Village India   Closes 31 December for February, 2005 and 28 February for April, 2005
The Global Arts Village is a non-profit residential art centre in New Delhi and is offering fellowships, partial fellowships,an artist in residence program and guesthouses. Twelfth International Conference on Learning   Call for papers

2005 Cowra Festival Art Awards   Closes 11 February 2005

The City of Hobart Art Prize is open to artists, designers and craftspeople nation-wide. The 2005 categories are ceramics and painting and will bring together contemporary visual arts, craft and design practice in a single exhibition. Email Hobart City Council for application details.

7th festival in ceramics - Ballarat   Application forms availabe from February, 2005
The 2005 festival will be held at Ballarat University from 17 to 19 September 2005. The VCG Link website will have the application forms from February.

Write in Your Face is a program of support to young writers, funded under the Australian Government's Young and Emerging Artists' Initiative.
